Iraq War Casualties - Things Are Not Getting Better

What makes Lieberman's statements about an improving Iraq all the more disgusting is the death toll for U.S. soldiers for the month of May: so far it is 124. That's the third worst month since the March 2003 invasion, only trailing the 135 dead in April 2004, and 137 dead in November 2004.

This is also the first time we've seen back to back death tolls above 100, and this has easily been the most deadly six month period of the war. The chart below shows the increasing toll on our troops.

Things are not getting better.

Thank you - the visual chart says a great deal.
