Reichert Cannot Run From His Record Or His Party

Bush Republican Dave Reichert is trying to run, not on, but from his record.

What else explains the fact his recent campaign frank mailings make no mention that he is, in fact, a REPUBLICAN!

Instead, he is just "Congressman Dave Reichert". You know, that regular guy who is spending your tax dollars to let you know just how swell he is.

For some reason this makes me think of the lyrics to the old Patty Duke Show, a variation of which could be appropriate for Dave Reichert:

Meet Congressman Reichert, who looked most everywhere,
from Seattle through river bare.
The Republicans keep him in their sight.
All votes must be locked up tight --
What a collusive affair!

Where Dave adores an anecdote,
Green River Killer, and Bush photo ops,
His party loves to bankroll,
Campaign crooks, out of control --
What a wild cop!

Still, they're bed mates,
Identical politicians and you'll find,
They steal alike, they vote alike,
Most times they even talk alike --

You can lose your mind,
When politicians are the worst kind.

This is an election in which the incumbent simply doesn't want you to know who exactly he is, and in this case he may not know himself!
