Can You Spare Another Five Years?

We've been in Iraq over 5 years, and now John McCain thinks we can "win" in Iraq by 2013.

Are you up for that, and the huge cost in lives and resources and money it will take - assuming of course by then we're not being told that everything will be over by 2018?

Didn't think so.

"No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public."
-- Henry Mencken

I think that McCain is following that advice and is assuming that his voter base is sufficiently idiotic to pull this off. As for his opponents, the Democrats, he may have good reason to believe them capable of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Why? Because the Democrats go broke OVER-estimating the intelligence of the American public.
