The Anti-Gay Bigots Come Out Of The Woodwork

On Friday, the Washington state legislature finally passed a gay rights bill after 29 years of trying. While there was much celebration by supporters of the bill, I feel we have a long way yet to go in suppressing the type of bigotry and hatred that gays are subjected to on a daily basis.

The following is a sampling of comments left by rightwing bigots on comment threads at Sound Politics, HorsesAss.org and the Seattle PI. The comments demonstrate a complete lack of tolerance and understanding about why the gay rights bill was needed in the first place. Indeed the comments demonstrate exactly why the law was needed, and just how sickening and hateful this intolerance is.
