Irons Abuse Of Mother Story
The Seattle PI has picked it up and even MSNBC has too.
It seems inevitable that David Irons will have to address this issue. So far he has decided to accuse his opponent, incumbent King County Executive Ron Sims, of feeding the story to David Goldstein (Goldy) at HorsesAss.org. Goldy has categorically denied that he was fed the story.
Nobody likes to see dirty laundry such as this affecting a political campaign, and certainly determining where the ultimate truth lies is very hard, but this is no mere youthful indiscretion being discussed, this is the physical abuse of a mother by a son, and therefore a very serious concern, made doubly so because the son, David Irons, might be elected to run King County, by far the largest county in Washington state.
