Rossi Vigil Continues: He Can Save Us From I-912

HorsesAss.org's vigil on Dino Rossi is soon to enter Day Four.

The candles are lit, and we wait in solemn quiet for the man who could save our roads, keep us safe, and protect Washington state from the misguided, dangerous, short-sighted Initiative that is I-912. Dino Rossi has the power to save the day, he has a duty to save the day.

This is a man who would have led this state. In its time of need, will he abandon the state to the unthinking mob that has created this costly, critically flawed ballot measure?

These are his people. These people are his responsibility.

So we continue to wait for Dino Rossi to come clean, and we're not alone.

Who cares what Rossi says?

His supporters should care. This initiative was largely created by angry Rossi supporters who were intent on "sending a message" to Olympia in Rossi's name. Rossi has both his business base and the I-912 base at odds over this and anyone who would be Governor should have a position on I-912 because of the impact on the state.

I don't think so. While I voted for Rossi, it was a last minute decision. I-912 was another matter entirely.

Actually, I would be surprised to see Rossi resurface in the public sector. I may be wrong. Elections take a lot out of you. Trust me. The best thing that happened to me was that I lost in the primary in a 37-33-30 vote. I was exhausted and still am avoiding getting in the public spotlight and mine wasn't even a major race like governor.
