Esser or Tebelius? Either Way You've Got a Loser to Choose From

Rumor has it, according to David Postman, who references a Seattle PI story, Luke Esser is interested in running for Washington State Republican Party Chair.
Sen. Luke Esser, R-Bellevue, who lost his re-election race in November, seems preparing a run to head the state Republican Party. The P-I had a story on this today. Esser would face current Chairwoman Diane Tebelius, who is up for election to a full two-year term in January.
That's Luke Esser, loser to Rodney Tom for his State Senate seat in the 48th.

As for Diane Tebelius, if you want to know why people think she needs replacing you need go no further than this quote:
"I think everybody across the state believes that Republicans did a great job in this election. They worked hard, they went out there and did what they needed to do to win."
Uh huh, which is why Republicans were crushed all over the state.

So you've got the choice of a loser in Diane Tebelius and a loser in Luke Esser. Looks like either way Republicans are in for more losing in Washington next year and beyond.

If Rossi is running he will work hard for Esser. Gov hopefull John Stanton would be much better off with Tebelius who is not a Rossi minion. If it comes down to a primary fight these two and their supporters know how good it is to have the chair on your side.
