McGavick's Alaskan Oil Connections Run Deep
I've been saying that McGavick is in bed with Big Alaskan Oil for months. It is obvious that with Alaskan Senator Ted Stevens' Big Oil buddies backing, McGavick will be returning favors in a big way should he win election in November. Washingtonians have a clear choice: they can either vote for Big Oil and the McGavick/Stevens ticket, or Maria Cantwell who has fought successfully for our environment, against ANWR drilling, and is a champion of investing in alternative energy sources.
Hat tips to Natasha and Noemie.
Update: David Postman at the Seattle Times reports the McGavick campaign has supposedly returned $14,000 of VECO contributions. Of course we're all supposed to have magically known they did that, despite the fact that there has been no press release that I have seen looking at the McGavick campaign site announcing that fact.
