Rossi Has No Shame Or Honor

Shame on Dino Rossi.

After producing a sham of a court case that cost both political parties millions of dollars, and set Washingtonians against one another, with the GOP sycophants hurling unfounded accusations of fraud or wild rhetoric, and the Democratic supporters having to defend against unsubstantiated charges and vitriol, Judge Bridges finally ended this nonsense with his devastating verdict against Rossi's claims.

Yet, Rossi further shames himself when he claims his reason for not appealing is due to the "political makeup of the Washington Supreme Court" that makes it "almost impossible to overturn this ruling." Does this man have no honor? Can he not see that the GOP's own hand-picked judge, in a Republican county courthouse, read a verdict that was so utterly final that no appeal would have likely overturned it, even if the Supreme Court was made up entirely of Republicans (or hamsters as one talk show radio caller suggested)?

By making such a statement, he debases our democracy and judicial system, and shows himself as a fool who has been chasing windmills at the expense of us all.
